Clearview Rodless Plantation Shutters

These stunning wenge plantation shutters are in elm which is stained to a beautiful wenge colour. You can see the depth of grain on these wood slats which gives a totally different look than painted plantation shutters.
A unique feature of these plantation shutters is that instead of having a mid rail to give you the flexibility of being able to open & close the top & bottom shutter slats independently, they simply have a break in the concealed push rods (called Clearview Shutters by many plantation shutters companies). This means that when the plantation shutter slats are fully open there is a clear view through all of the slats with no solid wood across the middle of the shutter panel. As you can see the bottom slats can still be fully closed to maintain maximum privacy while the light is still able to stream through the open slats at the top.
These plantation shutters are wenge stained elm with 64mm slats and hidden Clearview push rods. They are installed in a 4 sided L frame mounted inside the window recess. As the shutters are installed close to the window, the shutter panels are unable to be folded back to lie flat against the wall at the sides of the window however the narrow panels mean that they will not protrude too much when they are opened away from the window.
